I need to check if a copyright logo follows certain text, so if MORTAR NET is found without a copyright logo then replace with MORTAR NET©

David,

The "Restricted Text" check is a pretty good match for that - it can detect that situation and correct it.
Let me ask you - is the text you mentioned typically by itself it a note? or could it be in the middle of a bigger note?

I tried the restricted text but I couldn't get it to work correctly, the text would always be in the middle of a bigger note.

David,

Take a look at this file, it gives you the results you are asking for here

This regular expression uses “negative lookahead”, as described at:
http://www.regular-expressions.info/charclass.html - (you have to say match something that is not immediately followed by a © (also made a space optional)).

and special thanks to Matt for diving into this one.

Worked great Beau. Thanks

It doesn't matter to me for this but something you may look into is the formatting gets removed from the text when it is fixed (Bold, Italic and Underline)

Another small problem when trying this on a real project is we tend to group our text notes, when using the fix tool it wants to ungroup those text notes

Can you e-mail me a small sample file, just so we get your scenario right. beau.turner at avat.com

At the very least for now you can use the report and items tab to help find these missing buggers..

YGM....another suggestion, give the option to fix each instance individually instead of just globally fixing everything.
